![]() Travel and Fun Hello! This is Larry. It is 11:45 p.m. and we have had a wonderful first day! I may be brief because I need to get up at 5:30 a.m…the luxurious tour hours have begun! Fun and safe travel today. Tonight we sang REMEDY at Baring Cross Baptist Church in North Little Rock. It was a powerful first presentation. The things I love to hear are words like "God spoke to me clearly" or "that was exactly what I needed to hear." I heard those and other phrases. That tells me that God was there and spoke through our students. After we sang, the church fed us spaghetti and to my knowledge…only one minor incident of spaghetti on the khakis! Woo-hoo! After Kayla's devotion, we headed back to the hotel. Speaking of hotel…they were so great to us. They had two hotel representatives and a representative from the bureau of Little Rock tourism to greet us. They had fresh cookies and Little Rock souvenirs for any takers. Our late night activity that we always do on the first night was at Gator Golf park - go carts (if they drive their cars like the drive their go carts…oh my!), batting cages, miniature golf and tokens for all the games. The two hours flew by. They were wonderful upon arrival back at the hotel…promptly in their rooms and no noise. I love it when they get it that they need to respect other people! That deserves another woo-hoo! Great friends of mine from North Little Rock arranged to have mini buses and vans to transport us since the drivers were at their driving limit. Thank you Mike and Kathy! If today is any indication of this tour…we are in for some pretty awesome days! Thanks for your prayers and support. We love your students! Larry G.
